		<description>This is definitely the way forward no doubt...I&#039;ve been using Jango though which is 20% of the price...2000 plays is $50...and you get to see the people who like you, send them messages and more...really worth it.</description>

We appreciate your kind words in the comment area as well.  I totally agree that creating real relationships with fans is the most viable way to market your music.  We just saw so many people spending exorbitant sums of money on promotional methods that didn&#039;t even involve a potential fan *listening* to the song, so we created Grooveshark Artists to let the music speak for itself.</description>

@Brian - I felt the same way. The music business was built upon grassroots advertising, hard work and playing shows. The Internet has opened up new doors though, to new possibilities. Advertising, if kept in budget - and extremely targeted, can open up new fans to your music and create new opportunities to play out of town shows, live web streams and monetize in new ways that were not in existence only a few years ago.
