Just a quick shout-out to a great cause that was recently brought to my attention by a supportive Serve The Song reader, @JohnRadcliff. The cause is Relay for Life from the American Cancer Society. Folks can donate to the general cause or a specific team in the Relay.
John Radcliff is putting an interesting twist on the promotion for this great cause. Head on over to his website, where he and several musicians are offering their music for free as an incentive to drive traffic to Relay for Life.
Here’s a quote from his site:
What I am asking from you is that you go to my Relay for Life team page (it’ll open in a new window) and make a donation. In return, you can download all the music on this page for free. Many of my songwriter friends have donated songs to this cause. To them, I am eternally grateful for their support. I would also ask that you follow the links below the music player and get to know the fine musicians that have made this possible.
Check it out and join your fellow songwriters in showing some support!

Thanks for being part of the conversation at Serve The Song. We have a simple comment policy (with thanks to Tim Ferriss) - critical is fine, but if you’re rude we'll delete your stuff. ’Nuff said.
